For each essay we have written in English 110, students have received feedback from peers and the professor. This feedback includes praise, as well as constructive criticism from both parties. The peer review papers that received back all mentioned that the message of my essay was clear and easy to follow. They also mentioned that my writing had a clear sense of purpose and was well organized. The instructor comments that received were like the comments made by peer reviewers, however, there were a couple more errors commented on. I needed to fix some things having to do with MLA format and overall flow of the essay. My instructor suggested that I make a new paragraph in the middle of my first paragraph to help with the flow of the essay. She also suggested that one of my sentences was a run on sentence, so, I split that sentence up into 2 different ones. I also needed to fix the in-text citations I used. I put “(Author pg. #)” instead of “(Author #)”. One more thing I needed to fix was the work cited page of my essay. I did not put in a hanging indent to each of my citations.
